Helloooooooo Third Trimester!

Well we’re here at the 28-week mark and officially in my third trimester….aka getting close to the end!

I can’t believe it’s here, usually people tell you “oh it goes by so fast”, and I really haven’t felt that way, but now it seems strange that we’re in the final 3rd of pregnancy.  But we are SO excited and can’t wait to meet this little one!

Even though I was pretty good at getting weekly photos early on, that hasn’t been the case for the last several weeks.  So this week I hope to get back on track with that :-/

But here we are at 28 Weeks:

We’ve done a lot of work in Phoebe’s room and I’m so excited about the progress!

The room started out this color:

Until Harrison painted it:

(The lighting of these pictures makes the yellow look kind of harsh…but really it’s very subtle and pretty)

I really wanted yellow with gray chevron for the bedding set, but was having trouble finding exactly what I was looking for.  That is until I found exactly what I was looking for and found out how expensive it was….ouch!

So my Mom agreed to help me make it! (Thanks Nonna!!)

And, of course, the actual sewing….which I did do, I just failed to take any pictures…

We were very pleased with the results:

I love these ribbons…they make it look so girly!

Now we’re working on some finishing touches for the walls and other decorations and we just got confirmation that her dresser will be delivered on Tuesday, whoo!  So exciting to be putting it all together!
