Helloooooooooooooo Friday!
Phew! I don’t know about you, but I’m SO happy to see the weekend!
It’s been a long one, but a good one.
On Friday’s I write about a topic that I’m very passionate about, I call it “Invite People Over”.
If you read the Nester, she’s been talking a lot recently about friendship and she introduced the idea of Automatic Benches.
My brother and his wife have a weekly movie night. I think it’s Wednesday, but the night doesn’t really matter. They simply have an open invitation to friends and family that movie night is Wednesday each week. Then whoever shows up, hangs out for a while and at some point they start the movie. And it doesn’t matter if it’s two people, or ten or if nobody comes that week, cause then they just watch a movie together.
If you wanted to do food, you could do something super simple like order pizza, or cook some spaghetti, but food is not the focus of this gathering. Of course, including popcorn would be a great idea.
So give it a try! Invite people over.

I have a group of friends that I’m not that close to but would love to be. I really want to invite them to my house since they have never been before and we recently moved and i want to show it off. But I have absolutely no idea how to raise the topic. I’m scared of being rejected but I know that if they came over we would have fun. Any advice?
