She Reads Truth – Reading Scripture Together

If you’re like me, you’ve gone through a time (or many times) where it’s difficult to be in God’s word DAILY.

But isn’t it funny how we don’t seem to have a hard time keeping up with Facebook statuses and Twitter updates multiple times a day?

So why not use that technology to study the word and spend time with God?  Well Maggie and Kacia found a way to do just that.

Using YouVersion (an app on your smart phone or available through their website and email), they have built a community of women reading scripture together.

She Reads Truth is a website, blog and Twitter hashtag, but it’s SO. MUCH. MORE.

It’s a way for women all over to study the word of God together and encourage each other in DAILY reading, mediation and prayer time.

Of course, reading scripture is wonderful and encouraging in itself.  But it’s also great to follow along on Twitter and see everyone’s thoughts and responses to that day’s reading.  SUCH a great use of the technology we have available to grow in community together.

It’s not too late to join in! In fact, the reading plan we’ve been doing ends tomorrow and Thursday they will announce a brand new plan, so it’s a great time to jump in and start fresh with us!

If you’ve been looking for a way to get into the word (or if you haven’t!) this is a great way to do it.

  • Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thank you

  • Unquestionably imagine that which you said. Your favourite reason seemed to be on the internet the easiest factor to remember of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while other folks think about worries that they just do not recognize about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as smartly as defined out the whole thing with no need side-effects , other folks could take a signal. Will probably be again to gt more. Thank you
