Phoebe Grace arrived Tuesday, October 9th at 7:28 pm.
We induced Tuesday morning at 37 weeks due to the fact that she was measuring very small and not continuing to grow (more on that in a later post). She weighed 4 pounds, 3 ounces and was 17 inches long.
She is a beautiful, healthy baby! We had to go to the NICU because of her small size (hospital minimum weight), but she had no other health problems. We spent 6 days in the NICU to make sure she was eating enough and gaining weight.
We are UNBELIEVABLE happy to have this precious little girl and completely honored to be her parents.

awww, congratulations! i’ve been following your community series through the link up with the nester. the hubby and i host a small group bible study from our church in our home every sunday evening. although we have been hosting for five years already, it’s nice to have a fresh perspective every once in a while.
anyway, congratulations again and enjoy that new baby girl. oh, and two small pieces of advice that you will hear from others: nap when the baby naps and if someone offers to help take them up on the offer. people look for ways to be helpful but sometimes don’t because they don’t know what you need. keep a list of items you are running low on (eggs, toilet paper etc) and if someone calls and asks to help let them know that there are some things you need.
Congratulations!!! Oh my goodness, what a beautiful girl! I’m so happy for you guys
She is a sweet angle baby!!! How precious is she?!?!
